sunbird remote calendar support with http proxies

Anyone got Sunbird working connecting to remote ics calendars through and http proxy? There doesn't seem to have a proxy setup in the options.

Actually, I think that Phoenician's post was aimed at my tongue-in-cheek email and not yours. By the way the Freedom of Information Act doesn't entitle you to get information on other people's information such as SSNs or tax returns, unless that person is a public official. On top of which they are "supposed" to black out certain parts of those documents which you can get, like SSN's. Or were you not referring to the FOIA? But what bother's me the most is that counties sell my information to political candidates. Whatever free e-mail service I use isn't going to have any effect on somebody who's skillful enough to crack, say, Hotmail's e-mail systems in the first place. I don't know any launch codes or have knowledge of who's going to win the Super Bowl so I'll bet nobody is all that interested anyway. My e-mails consist of me finding out if we're all going to play some D&D on Saturday night or something similarly inane Especially the government. Something, that wouldn't be possible to do legally today. Because the assault weapons still cannot be fully automatic. They also may not have had access to crack cocaine but regularly used marijuana and opium freely. Cocaine wasn't illegalized until the 1900s, hence Coca-Cola. You see, something that differentiates our current (aka 20th and 21st century) politicians and our founding fathers is that the founding fathers actually expected people to be free to live as they wanted to, for the most part.

[OT] Assembly and Microcontrollers

Does anyone know of a good kit out there that would enable me to hook a microcontroller board to me computer via some port and then transfer a program written on my computer over to it. I found a kit from Radio Shack that allows it: http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fnam e=CTLG%5F006%5F001%5F003%5F000&product%5Fid=276%2D625 But the programming language it uses is BASIC, which in my opinion is a very ugly language, and not really helpful. I'm hoping to find one that uses either C or Assembly (preferably Assembly, because I don't know how to program in assembly yet) Any ideas? I would prefer a board that is already built, or one with very easy instructions, because I have no idea how to read a schematic yet. I could learn (it's on the list of things to do), but I would prefer to wait, and work with something less expensive my first time out. Ok, Make sense? Anyone know of anything out there? But that's another rant. entirely. <snip> Nah, I was giving Allen a ration of dookie but the fact that a lot of Google's servers are over seas does pose an interesting issue, especially when many foriegn countries don't have an privacy regulations. By allowing those governmental agencies to "walk" all over your contitutional rights just because you do not do anything illegal you are, by proxy, stating that you do not care about protecting those rights.
