I have a Netgear router that I was trying to change into a pass through router, and I turned off the DHCP allocation. Now I can't get to the router at all. Any thoughts on what I can try?
Thanks, Jim

These usually default to a 192.168.0.* IP address (see the manual). You may be able to properly configure an ethernet port manually, hook it to the router, and talk to it that way.
If you still can't talk to the router, and can't remember the IP settings you assigned to it, there should be a "restore factory defaults" reset button hidden somewhere. Again, see the manual for details. Once reset, you should be back in business...

Plug in to the router and then check what your assigned gateway is.
Then = http://whateveryourgatewayis/
Should get you there.
