Re: Displaying an ellipsis character in a terminal
by Brian Kelsay 16 Feb '05

Ellipsis, as in proper punctuation, like this? http://webster.commnet.edu/grammar/marks/ellipsis.htm What use do you have for that in a terminal? Can't you just type three periods? ... Or are you displaying text that already has ellipsis in it? Brian Kelsay >>> Gerald Combs <gerald(a)ethereal.com> 02/09/05 10:57PM >>> Is there any way within bash to display an ellipsis character in xterm, PuTTY, or other terminals in common use?

RE: VOIP experiences

I'm using a service called Lingo. I have had some issues with quality until they rebuilt the account in the servers. So far so good. They are owned by a fair sized Telco in Canada called Primus is the reason I chose them. Secondly, they include Western Europe calls in addition to Canada, USA for $20 a month. Is it perfect, NO. Is it good enough, yes. Setup cost was like $40.00 for a "router with QOS". If you sign up, say I refereed you, I think I think we each get a free month. Number to use is 816 875 4282 if you do. Thanks. ________________________________ From: kclug-bounces(a)kclug.org on behalf of hanasaki Sent: Sat 2/12/2005 7:02 PM To: List - KCLUG Subject: VOIP experiences What have your experiences with VOIP been? I have heard some require special phones while others just need an adapter at the dsl/cablemodem connection to the house. thanks _______________________________________________ Kclug mailing list Kclug(a)kclug.org http://kclug.org/mailman/listinfo/kclug
