Got it. Chuckled. Didn't need comment. Sco isn't a caldera, it's a pimple. A very annoying persistent pimple, that will eventually be obliterated with medication. The next time Yellowstone erupts, New Orleans will be 5 inches deep in ash. Imagine 2500 Mt St. Helen's eruptions simultaneously. But it hasn't erupted like that in 600,000 years. Last eruption was 70,000 years ago. I'd be more worried about Mt St. Helen's which is N. Charity needs help selling off computer equipment

I don't like spam, and I'm only mentioning this because many of you may benefit from it. The Community and Senior Service Center at 67th & Nieman Rd. (behind StoneBridge Wines & Fine Foods) in Lenexa, KS, gets a lot of donated computer hardware. I volunteer my time there testing most of the equipment they get, so I know most of what they have works. Everything I test gets a price label with information as to whether or not it works and how well it works. Anyway, they don't have a lot of space to store anything, and they have quite a lot of computer equipment which needs to go to people who need it. If any of you need things like monitors and keyboards, you should come by and check them out. Due to the lack of space most are priced to sell quickly. Used Monitors 14" and 15" go for $10 usually, sometimes a little higher but most of them are $10 right now. Used Keyboards, AT & PS/2, go for $3 each. Used Inkjet printers are $10. We're pricing all the miscellaneous cables, power, printer, whatever, at $1 each for a few more weeks. And for those of you wanting to do a little extremely low end experimenting, there are some 386 and 486 machines lying around for $3-$5 each (if nothing else, consider them a $3 used floppy drive). There's even one used Pentium 100Mhz with a CDROM! (ooooo!) Don't mind the duct tape on the cases, its crude security to keep the folks who open cases from stealing the RAM, CDROM drive, floppy drive, etc., then closing the case and walking away. Had two computers which were rendered nearly useless from that last week. So come on down, buy some hardware. All the food is free (1 sweet item per person) and sometimes they have fresh vegetables too. _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!? This lineage of humor has more grounding in objective realities than INDUCE does. The public perception sees Linspire, and the criminal aspects addressed by the misbegotten legislative FUD, as all one lump. Result being that, anti-copying/sharing legislation gets more good press than Buckaroo Banzai did. Hell folks, the logic used to assault our freedoms in ANY aspect of our mundane lives has begun to resemble the eighth dimension more than not. Sadly the unfunny part is that shite like INDUCE detracts from Linux as yet more FUD tarnishes Open Source. Every time another un-refuted salvo of FUD slimes Linux, and by extension all Open Source, it hurts our common cause. Anyone more able than I, at authoring some face-to-face verbal ammo to shoot down the fudmongers we encounter daily, is humbly begged to share it with us! Nope, that won't work for KCLUG mail. The "To:" field will not always, in fact hardly ever, have the proper recipient of the email. Hence, Matt's dilemma. You have to look at the crazy headers for KCLUG. I'd say he needs both of the approaches you stated. One filter by list and to by "To:". That *should* get most if not all filtered into his appropriate mailboxes. The experts that laughed at Columbus did so because they knew his math was way off, he just got lucky in finding someone who was dumb enough to believe his math over the experts at the time.

A book I'm reading about Mars mentioned caldera in relation to volcanoes, so I looked up the term. ------------------ cal·de·ra Pronunciation (kl-dâr, -dîr, käl-) n.
