I am selecting an image backup solution for several networked, home PCs and wonder if anyone has experience with this? http://sourceforge.net/projects/g4l
Thanks-Will

I haven't messed with that though I have used: http://www.partimage.org/Main_Page
Not sure if partimage images can be uped to an FTP, but I know it can do local and remote with the partimage server part.

I've always thought of ghost as sort of "dump for windows"
I like PartImage Is Not Ghost (PING) and I recommend (and use) PING. PING requires a windows or Samba share. If you start with a 40 GB source partition with only 6 GB of data/OS/apps PING creates an image typically about 3.6 GB or so in size. PING uses a very handy and easy to follow image creation wizard approach which makes it easier and faster for me to use.
Just my humble opinion. Good luck in your endeavor.
