I'm looking for a old MIPS machine, perferably one that powers up. Free or cheap would be excellent. I don't really care how old or how slow I just need mips 32 bit.
As nice as a wrt54g sounds, I have 6 of them but, I need a MIPS non-embedded device. To do actual development on. Video card, network card, keyboard ports would be very much wanted.

You said "old", which implied "low end" ;) There are mods for the WRT54GL that allow adding a SD/MMC device (which could be a HD), and you could probably use a remote X terminal...
