Multi-list message: Can CCCKC help out KCLUG with a presence at Maker Faire? I know there were plans to make and give out CDs of software. Maybe we could bring both groups together to help with the software side of the CCCKC booth or somehing?

Multiple booths of associated groups is a good idea. Better than a large variety of groups trying to work in one booth. The guys I mentioned would be good to contact in any case. They can help with questions and smooth out any needs. It'll help the booth to have sympathetic people working in the Faire. On Apr 18, 2012 12:32 PM, "Chris Bier" chris.bier@cymor.com wrote:
We might wait a bit and see if anyone is interested in manning the booth.

It should be easy to get setup at KC Maker Fair. CCCKC will at least be handing out CDs of software at their booth. There are a couple contact people at CCCKC to talk to who can help setting things up, should someone drop a note on their list? I know there are a few others are on both
lists.

Since ITEC doesn't seem to be coming back, would anyone be interested in a boot at the KC Maker Faire? http://www.makerfairekc.com/
