I've been asked by a one of my clients if I could come up with a thin client that will automatically access a remote desktop session after logon. I know it is possible, how hard is it to setup? Also I would need to limit internet access to only approved websites (this would be for a mixed OS environment but would like to use Linux as a solution).

So this thin client needs a web browser and a remote desktop client?
Are you willing to buy new hardware or do you want to recycle existing machines?

I'm willing to purchase new hardware and build to spec. Oddly enough I do not have many existing machines. The thin clients do not need the web browser per say.

Jason,
Thanks for the recommendation. I've added those to my list of options.
