Dear KCATA:
We of the kansas city linux users group would be happy to repair the trip planner server-side application so that it will work with any web browser, either as a paid project or on a volunteer basis.
Please reply to kclug@kclug.org.

Great move, you beat me to it. Just out of curiousity, would non-registered emails be allowed to the list by default? seeing as you asked that they replied to the list.

Non subscribed addresses aren't allowed to post to the list. It's an easy way to prevent list spamming.

Absolutely. And it would be a perfect example of private enterprise filling the gap between provided government services and public needs. I can provide hosting, adsense banners, and accounting. Someone who enjoys working with that crazy google maps technology would have to make it work. kcbusmonster.com? kcatasucks.com? the floor is open for name suggestions...

I am working on a project [1] that uses a free geocoder [2] to auto-map schools based on their address.
Fun stuff!
