Top Skills' Details Associates degree or equivalent required. Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Window Server Administrator.
Experience with IIS Certificates
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud operations engineering, Service Reliability Engineering (SRE)or related field
Experience in systems administration, architecture, or engineering.
Able to demonstrate strong skills in the following areas: System deployment automation and system configuration management.
Automation of system deployment and administration tasks via tools such as shell scripting, Octopus, Power Shell, etc.
Technical knowledge in configuration management and software development methodologies
Experience diagraming solutions and documenting processes and standards.
Experience with scripting and/or automation (i.e. PowerShell, Bash, Python, Dome9, Terraform, etc.).

Come up through ranks of Infrastructure - Server Windows or Linux - moved or moving to DevOps type of role - understand the in's and out's of infrastructure. Legacy app runs on windows server IIS - maintain support - moving to software as a service deployments - building out using Jira Jenkins Octopus kubernetes clusters.
Day-to-Day - not a ton of interaction with customers, may have to participate in call. Behind the scenes working monitoring the applications deployment of upgrades. JH apps in DC. As customers start using them then they would need to participate.

Job Description
What you'll be responsible for: Manage and support internal server infrastructure (Windows) and development and testing environments. Manage and support public cloud production, testing and development environments.
Maintain operational software and tooling E.g. Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Windows IIS, SQL etc.
Contribute to the technical design and implementation of system deployment automation, configuration management tools and Disaster Recovery processes.
Build and support company's growth into the public cloud services.
Performs system analysis and programming activities which require research.
Develop strong relationship with the DevOps team(s) to assure best practice implementations.
Build and maintain system and application snapshots for use with continuous delivery.
Actively participate in all phases of the software development life-cycle, including research, prototyping, detailed design, development, technical documentation, and defect fixing.
Use appropriate tooling associated with DevOps engineering and system configuration management.
Creates required technical documentation.
Implement automation across both public and private cloud data centers.
Maintain processes, tools, and documentation in support related to operational environments.
Develop processes and procedures regarding new client onboarding activities.
Some after-hours and weekend work required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
