Hi All,
I was thinking we could have a meeting on the East side, since there were several people interested in meeting there.
Would the 3rd Tuesday (April 16th) work, or would Wednesday the 17th be better? Which Library over there would be best? Also, would someone be willing to signup for a room at that library?
Chris
How east are we talking? Is the Colbern road library in Lee's Summit an option?

Fine with me, if we've got at least a few people that would come.

That's in my neck of the woods, so I'm more likely to be able to come out. The other meeting locations are generally 20-30 minute drives.

Good news/bad news.
I was able to reserve a room for 5 gratis at the Colbern Road Library, but the *16th/17th were booked* up. I went for the *24th of April* (the following Wednesday) as the best course of action.
BTW there is a coffee shop at this location.
I can easily cancel/resched if this isn't going to work out, but I wanted to grab a time considering how quickly these things were booking up.
Thoughts?

I have a last minute family thing that has come up on the 24th. This is atypical, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
Should I move the meeting to the following Wed? Should I shift the reservation to another person?
I would like to meetup, so if we can move it, awesome. But I understand if that's not convenient.

Thoughts?

That's in my neck of the woods, so I'm more likely to be able to come out. The other meeting locations are generally 20-30 minute drives.

How east are we talking? Is the Colbern road library in Lee's Summit an option?

Hi All,
I was thinking we could have a meeting on the East side, since there were several people interested in meeting there.
Would the 3rd Tuesday (April 16th) work, or would Wednesday the 17th be better? Which Library over there would be best? Also, would someone be willing to signup for a room at that library?

We had one running on kclug.org, but it broke, and I disabled it. iCal is much easier than it used to be.

Everyone except Chris B on this thread seems to be "@gmail.com", so I it doesn't seem like an out of pocket request to me :D I would be in favor, or maybe it exists and I don't know it. I"m a loong time mostly lurker on this group, and that's mainly because everything historically is too much of a hike for me commute wise.

I took decisive action since there seems to be a handful of us and rescheduled to the following week, which means May 1st 6-8 PM at the Colbern Road Library.
I owe you a beverage.

Well, here is my pickle.
I have a last minute family thing that has come up on the 24th. This is atypical, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
Should I move the meeting to the following Wed? Should I shift the reservation to another person?
I would like to meetup, so if we can move it, awesome. But I understand if that's not convenient.
Best,
Chase

So far the new meetings have been one-off, so a programmed calendar didn't make sense. If we get some momentum that would be a very good idea.
