I guess that’s cool, but are we planning on having more meetings here soon? I’d love to join everyone once again.

It's not just the LUG. I know of three other organizations that are shutting down because they can't get enough volunteers or participants to hold a meeting. On 07/17/2025 11:28 AM CDT Gilmore, Steve steve.gilmore@garmin.com wrote:

Dang. I do know some Linux folks around here, they might want to join in. Anything I could do to help?
Who else on here would join in on another meetup?

I'm not a good one to ask. I've been active since the 90s and have attended exactly ONE meeting. I also did some sort of event we did out by Adams Dairy Parkway . I've been on the Mailing list, and more recently IRC (#kclug ln libera).

Thank you Jonathan! You da man! I always thought it'd be cool for a case of bug members to be able to play with our .com and .net to learn technologies. I used one once to try at cloudflare on something non production

I haven't been to a meeting since...the early 2000s? But it could be fun. I don't have a linux laptop to bring along at this point, unless you count chromebooks, haha! Even my build-your-own-PC desktop linux machine is pretty non-exciting these days, in terms of hardware and what I do with it. I've become pretty much a casual user outside of work.
But if someone else was presenting about something cool they've done recently, that could be good to see, and possibly a good conversation starter.

Would anyone be interested in a talk on realtime tuning for ArduPilot?
