We're looking to fill a Technical Support Engineer position at Advanced Clustering Technologies. We are a local small business that focus on building high performance computer clusters to higher education, government, and large corporations. It's a full-time position with benefits (insurance, vacation, 401K with matching). Job requires Linux skills, and interaction with customers.
The job duties and responsibilities include: * Technical support to customers via phone, email, and IM * Handling customer RMA transactions * Repairing and diagnosing problems with RMA'd systems
Skills and qualifications: * Intermediate to Advanced hardware troubleshooting skills * Knowledge of PC components and assembly * Experience with the Linux operating system * Basic networking skills required (switches, TCP/IP, routing, hardware, etc.) * Strong communication skills * Interest in learning about new technologies * Honesty, integrity and a solid work ethic are mandatory
