I'm going to try and make next meeting, might want to send me a reminder email to bring the memory. I have a 64, 128, and 256 all pc133 sodims.
Any idea if they'd work in a G3 iBook? Presuming curt doesn't need/want them all, it could use some more RAM...
you need to check your ibook stats and see what kind of ram it is. my G3-450mhz powerbook only takes 16x32 based ram. I got some from bill a while back, 2 256 chips, but still only sees 190mb because they are the wrong *x* size.
Best bet is to get the memory layout info from crucial.com and then shop around for the right kind.
crucial.com says it can handle: SDRAM, PC133 * CL=3 * Non-parity * 133MHz * 3.3V * 64Meg x 64 (512 MB) SDRAM, PC133 * CL=2 * Non-parity * 133MHz * 3.3V * 32Meg x 64 (256 MB) SDRAM, PC133 * CL=2 * Non-parity * 133MHz * 3.3V * 16Meg x 64 (128 MB)
I'm too short on $ to buy more RAM, unfortunately, but if someone's got it spare, I'm of course grateful :)
