I've have multiple distros on mine, even at one time. The only constant has been the original WinXP recovery partition. Ubuntu, Easy Peasy, Moblin, etc. all worked to varying degrees, and of course more modern versions of each has worked better and better.

I was able to install Ubuntu on the Acer One after repartitioning, reformatting, and reinstalling the Ubuntu Live CD on the flash drive.  I think I must have screwed up the MBR with syslinux.  Works perfectly now.  Excellent netbook.
