Other useful searches on maps.google.com are:
free hotspot <zipcode>
free wifi <zipcode>
free wireless <zipcode>
free 802.11 <zipcode>
free airport <zipcode>
etc.

I used free 'cause otherwise you get all the custom subscription
hotspots too,and those usually have their own directories of
locations.
