That's right.

I got an enough courage to play with webmail.
I used to manage Exchange, Quickmail, but I didn't use webmail at that time.
All was come with as a default.

Anyway, I have read the instruction taht I need to add in order to make the
horde work.

At the first place, I found tha I need to compile PHP with --with-gettext
option.
horde-2.2.1/test.php failed.
and it mentioned that I need to configure above the option.

I have used PHP for few years without much trouble.
but, this typical matter grab my neck.

Now, it is time to know how to uninstall this big beast.

In regards to Solaris, I am using Solaris 9 on Sun Sparc system.
there are some differences in terms of system configuration,
but there is no much difference insatlling 3rd party software typically
GNU compatible softwares.

Mostly, I am using GNU tools like GCC, Apache, whatever.

Any suggestions about how to remove and reinstall this??

thanks in advance,

That would perhaps be me. I used a default RedHat 7.3 (with current
updates) to install horde and imp. The default installation of Apache
included php.

Are you certain the PHP package you have is Solaris 9 compatible? I
know there are differences between Solaris and Linux but don't know if
they're enough to cause something to fail to compile.
