Yes, that is why I mentioned it.
To be accurate, each conductor is a solid strand instead of the
multistranded wires you would find in patch cables. (But I suspect that
Jared is aware of that.) They are still twisted together in pairs and
then twisted together as a bundle like any other CAT5 cable.
