integrating linux with Novell 5

It's possible. Netware 6 offers native access file sharing that allows other OSs
to access file shares using their own native protocols. (NFS for UNIX/Linux, SMB
for Windows). As for printing, you can setup LPR emulation for the Netware
printers or use the Internet printing feature.
