Actually you can restore the disk to what Windows wants by use of the
MS-DOS version of fdisk by using:

	fdisk /mbr
	
That builds a virgin Master Boot Record.

I hope you continue with Linux though.  It is like a 50 caliber
machine gun to Windows hand pumped pellet rifle.

Start looking for the .org you want to help and you will soon
find others on the same path willing to help you over or around
the potholes they have already encounterred.

When you get to territory not traveled much look back for others
you can help past those recent potholes.
