ASUS Eee PC for sale at MicroCenter

I was out there Saturday and acted interested enough that he plugged the 
battery in and booted it for me; it's pretty cool, with a 15 second boot 
time for its modified Debian OS and OO opening fast as lightning, compared 
to my previous experiences, BUT...
No console or terminal that we could find with a cursory search; I asked 
if he'd let me try Ctl-Alt-Bkspc, but he didn't think that would be a good 
idea (I think by then he'd realized my impoverished condition...:-\
