Unless your hands are tied, I'd try to avoid Cisco ;)
A lot of their higher end stuff is often proprietary and while I haven't had 
the experience to recommend an alternative, I imagine there must be something 
available...
I know Digium produces T1 cards, but they're probably just for PRI/voice.
