Firefox sercurity questions

If you're running Firefox 1.0, you probably want to
download and install the latest. There are a number of
security fixes and other patches since 1.0. I'm not
sure this has anything to do with your problem though.
If you think your system has been compromised, boot
the system with a liveCD, after disconnecting from the
internet of course, and run diagnostics against the
system.
