sorry, forgot to get into my server...here is the reply for ls -al /etc/localtime for my server: -rw-r--r-- 5 root root 1279 Oct 2 13:12 /etc/localtime I am not sure what this means. the date command shows: Sat Jan 3 23:35:14 CST 2004 which is correct.
