And what exactly are you basing this on?  Two people have posted the 
gzip (NOT bzip) command line issued by the kernel makefile when running 
"make bzImage".

Please provide some form of substantiation for your statement above 
other than the implied "it's got a 'b' and a 'z' next to each other in 
the filename, so it must be bzipped!".
