Dual display in Red Hat Linux?

I got this to work using a dual-head Matrox Card (G450) which, if you do a
search on the internet, is supposedly not possible.

This was about a year ago and I really can't remember what I did, but I do
remember it being about 3 lines in the config file and 10 minutes worth of
work.

The problem with the laptop is that it doesn't (most) have that capibility.
It can displat the same image on both screens but not span the screens.  The
video card isn't layed out that way.
