...I'm also looking at some type of email spam
handling solution. I have about 5 email accounts, all of them with
different "ages" of internet circulation. One email account is over 5+
years old and gets a BOATLOAD of spam. On the other hand I still get good
email on it also. Has anyone come up with a good way to tackle the
multi-headed email monster?

I use the services of the folks at spamcop.net. I set all of my email to
forward to an address @spamcop.net and use Outlook (or Entourage on my Mac)
to check the IMAP mailbox they provide. I also check via webmail in any
browser. They do a great job of marking Spam and I can black/white list any
individual piece of mail at any time.

The only thing I don't like is that I have to report spam within 3 days of
receiving it. I usually blow that deadline and end up simply deleting the
spam (unread) rather than doing my bit to improve the world by reporting the
spam to the sender's ISP.

Check it out. I used the free service (to simply report spam) for a long
time, then decided to switch to the for-cost IMAP account. I think it's
about $15/year. It's worth it.
