I used Slackware back when that was pretty much the only distribution 
going. For years that was all I knew, then someone suggested I try Red 
Hat, which I did.

I ran Debian for a little over a year and used OpenBSD for several months.

For no particular reason, I always come back to Red Hat. I think I'll give 
Gentoo a go one of these days, it looks pretty interesting.
