Legality: Was Comcast/etc....

Caping services is one thing.  I'll use my steak again.  Because it's lunch
time and I'm hungry.

If I have a 12oz steak (mmmmm...) and say you can only eat 6oz of it...and
then charge you for 6oz. that's different then if I sell you a 12oz steak,
charging you the 12oz price and then say, "Well, you can only eat 6oz of it.
When we sold you the 12oz, we actually though you were only going to eat
half of it and then we could resell the other half to someone else at the
12oz price again... sorry..."

Maybe we should all call the cable company and say. Um... I only used my
connection for 10 hours this month... I'd like a you to take the other 710
hours off my bill.  Or better yet, and more to the point of the whole thread
:::  "I only used an average of 200K/sec of transfer this month.  I'd like a
credit for the 1Mbit I didn't use."
