Interesting that a recent product like Windows 2000 would still require
any reboots at all.  I'd say 8 reboots was not too bad.  It took me 9
reboots and 3 bluescreens to get the webcam installed and working on my
mom's Win98 box.

Gentoo Linux does not require a reboot even after everything is installed,
up and running.  Reboots: 0 ...I installed it from a running Mandrake
install once and left the chrooted gentoo running for nearly a month.  
Bootable distributions offer an easier time than that.
