how much does career suicide cost?

I want a yurt. If I decide to move I can pack it all back up on the back
of my pickup and take it with me, it's a lot cheaper than most homes, it's
sort of hackable which appeals to the geek in me, and as it wears out I
can just toss it and get another one for less than most people would pay
to maintain their normal home.

Seriously though.. what do people need with a quarter of a million dollar
home? I want a place to sleep, watch tv, use my computer, shower, input,
output, and occassionally invite a female over. I can do all that in 500sq
ft of space with room to spare. I could custom build a house to my needs
for under $30,000 including the land and a nice solar/wind system.

Don't dream it. Be it.
