IBM has been doing this for years with AIX, so it should be an easy port to
Linux. Sprint PCS has a DB2/UDB data base running on a 64 node AIX box that
has several billion rows of data, does 300 million inserts and 200 million
deletes every day. Try and run that on MS-SQL Server!
