LCA Certification

How does this apply to someone that has a degree in something other than CS?
I have changed careers and find it hard to go ANYWHERE until I get 2-3 years
experience. I have had to claw my way into the computer industry. I've had
recruiters that didn't want to talk to me until I had Cert. in hand, but I
have no time to get the Cert. while working two jobs.
