I've played with this before (MSN Speedtest mainly) and I'm showing 701.7
Kbps on my Linux box here with the Road Runner Speed Test on my DSL.
Fortunately I haven't had to deal with any DHCP or PPPoE yet -- I'm static
IP'ed with DSL Onramp.
