Boot floppy

Sure, you COULD do that, but it would be easier to boot the CD and do it from there (I assume that
this is possible, but I'm not a RH user these days...) Otherwise, look on your CD for a directory
called "images", there should be a readme in there for making a set of boot disks.
Note:
you might find it easier, if you don't need to pass any kernel paramaters, to just dd a kernel to
the floppy and boot from there.

>Here's an interesting problem: I have just installed RedHat 6.1 on a
machine with Win2000. Instructions that I have found said not to install
LILO on the MBR, but to make a boot floppy instead. I have done that, BUT
the boot floppy that I made apparently has some bad sectors on it, because
when I try to boot up with it, I immediately get an "error 0x10". Is there
any way to create a new boot floppy from windows so I can boot to Linux to
get the Win2000 dual boot working?
