Boot floppy

Here's an interesting problem: I have just installed RedHat 6.1 on a
machine with Win2000. Instructions that I have found said not to install
LILO on the MBR, but to make a boot floppy instead. I have done that, BUT
the boot floppy that I made apparently has some bad sectors on it, because
when I try to boot up with it, I immediately get an "error 0x10". Is there
any way to create a new boot floppy from windows so I can boot to Linux to
get the Win2000 dual boot working?
