well it seems that i overwrote the MBR on the master
drive, and that's what's loading, not the correct lilo
loader on the slave drive (i'd started to install
using the straight workstation install and i figure it
replaced the mbr instead on putting lilo on the right
drive.  

so my ? is if anyone knows how to restore the mbr for
a ntfs drive?
