If you're using @Home, all you need to do is open a terminal window, and type:

 >dhcpcd -h "computername" eth0

"Computername" being the name @Home assigned your computer.  It's usually 
something like CJ******-A - the *'s being numbers. Also, leave out the " "'s. 
Also, make sure eth0 is correct for your ethernet card.

If this works for you, you can add that line to your boot.local file, and be 
online everytime your PC is on.  Make sure you have a good firewall though.
