video card recommendations wanted

Hmm, never used a Stealth III S540 (a bit steep for me, I spend too much money
on CPU and harddisk). As long as it uses a modern S3 chipset, you should be
fine. Stealth III would be new enough, some older Stealths had some flaky S3
chipsets. Is yours an AGP version? If so, just plug it in get a 2.0.36 - 2.2.xx
 rev, install, pop a cold one, and enjoy.
