It's really easier than that -- just subscibe using your regular address
(home/whatever) for where you are going to archive or normally store the
messages.  Then for use at work, setup another email account but set it to
nomail via majordomo.   That'll keep you from getting dupes at work and
weeding them out.  Then go over to the archive site and read the posts
every hour or so and reply when need be.   

Very simple and elegant solution that works very nicely.  That allows you
to clamp down the list to subscriber only, as those set to nomail are still
subscribers and they can post.
