If you get tired of enterring that command every time...

Use your favorite text editor and edit XF86Config. Near the top of the file, you should see
something like this:

	FontPath        "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/"
	FontPath        "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/"
	FontPath        "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/"
	FontPath        "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/"
	FontPath        "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/"

======================

That is /etc/XF86Config and they have other suggestions.

I had read that RH 6.0 included support for TruType fonts,
I would have expected them to follow the HOWTO.

RedHat quality seems to be declining. I hope that the competition
wakes them up before they lose the respect of the community.

I have seen how quickly SLS, Yggdrasil, and Slackware all lost
it in their turn. RedHat better get themselves together quickly.
