Seeing as Oren invoked my experience with my Frankenputer and master/slave
drive stuff, I'll allow that Ubuntu 7.10 exceeded my expectations when I did
the rebuild on my tower. I won't bore the list with a lengthy blow-by-blow,
if anybody out there is interested, it is a weird story involving both
hardware and software and a relative newcomer to the Linux world. Any
interested parties can contact me directly, will be happy to share the story
and, I assure you, it is a strange one!
