I have heard that some DSL providers will reassign IP's periodically, if you are using dynamic IP. My guess is that this is the only way to prevent people from effectively getting a fixed IP without the premium price. That is, if you never took the interface or computer down, your IP would never change...clever bastards. -Steve Holdener
