Job Description

If I had to describe the role it would be a DevOps specialist with 4+
years of experience in Azure and .NET environments.

Here are the preferred skills we’d like to fill for this role:
• Manage operation of Sitecore in Azure
• Configure and manage Azure App Services, including network
restrictions, sizing, and advanced restarts
• Update and manage Azure Front Door and Azure CDN configurations
• Perform and interpret Azure Log Analytics queries
• Report and estimate Azure billing and costs
• Manage Azure DNS zones
• Update and manage Apache redirects on Linux
• Manage, configure, and update Azure DevOps pipelines & repositories
• Manage, configure, and update Jenkins pipelines
• Manage and configure GitHub and Bitbucket repositories, including
advanced git operations

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Intermediate-level knowledge of common web server platforms and
components, including but not limited to:
• Web and application servers: Apache, IIS, Tomcat, WebLogic,
WebSphere, JBoss, AEM
• Windows server and enterprise Linux operating systems (Red Hat,
SUSE, Ubuntu)
• Experience with Public Cloud Hosting providers: Microsoft Azure,
Rackspace Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud
• Scripting languages: At least one scripting language from
PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl and others
• Familiarity with DevOps, web development life cycle, source control
systems, continuous integration, change management and task-tracking
tools. Examples: GIT, Subversion, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, MSBuild, JIRA,
Confluence, Puppet, Chef, SonarQube
• Learn new technologies quickly; self-motivated; dependable
• Update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities
(formal and informal)
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and to
explore opportunities to add value
