I use Google Voice, so I can put my number in public places (e.g.
Facebook). I started using it when Google Voice was Grand Central.
It's my way of dealing with poor cell phone coverage at home and not
having a text messaging added on my cell phone plan. A quarter per
text message is really painful. I really like it, because it's very
convenient. I like seeing SMS text messages as email.
