These usually default to a 192.168.0.* IP address (see the manual).  You
may be able to properly configure an ethernet port manually, hook it to
the router, and talk to it that way.

If you still can't talk to the router, and can't remember the IP
settings you assigned to it, there should be a "restore factory
defaults" reset button hidden somewhere.  Again, see the manual for
details.  Once reset, you should be back in business...
