I found gentoo's CD building system did not fit my needs at the time I
was trying to get it to work, also.

The documentation in the isolinux package however was helpful and I
was able to construct install disks.

Does anyone know what the trick is to creating bootable DVDs?  I was
asked that recently and did not know
