Problems Watching TV in Linux

Ouch, didn't know all the headers remained intact.

All I want is to watch TV, not install a MythTV box in
which 80% of the TV-stuff won't be used.  Heck, I'm
not even using the TV Card as a tuner, its just
accepting the input from the VCR which in turn does
all the channel changing.
