you need to check your ibook stats and see what kind of ram it is.  my 
G3-450mhz powerbook only takes 16x32 based ram.
I got some from bill a while back, 2 256 chips, but still only sees 
190mb because they are the wrong *x* size.

Best bet is to get the memory layout info from crucial.com and then shop 
around for the right kind.
