HDTV cards for Linux

In other words, you can use this as:

HD Antenna --> HD Tuner --> Capture --> PC

But not like:

HD Cable/DirecTv --> Converter box with HD outputs --> HD Tuner --> Capture
 --> PC

Something like that?
